LA is an expensive city to live? and what is the weather and climate there?? ?
I live in New York now is expensive here as a small room one (studio) apartment in Manhattan Live 1000-1500 cost in Queens and im paying 1100 for a 2 bedroom apartment I start college in Los Angeles i hope to be accepted: Otis College of Art and Design and that is why it is affordable to ask if I will be living in my aunts house in Brentwood (not sure if spelled correctly) but I will get out as soon as you can find a job for what it is like in Los Angeles?
It is very expensive to live here. Although not as expensive as SF (I lived there for a while … reality with a wealthy aunt, too, LOL. Tried to get an apartment there and 10 years ago, a room was $ not 1500. Probably now $ 2000.) And some parts of New York, is still quite expensive. So expensive that I'm considering moving to the "ghetto." I live in an area used to be cheap and now a group of wealthy people are moving in the rent has skyrocketed. My mother can not even afford to support herself now if we have to go I'mma have to move to Compton, or something, hehe. My rent in Torrance (a boring suburb of Los Angeles very close to the beach) is $ 1000 for a small bedroom (not studio). And this was the cheapest I could find in Torrance. There are definitely places that are more expensive than here. (I recently tried back to search for apartment and manager of my mom is a shower and not solve anything. Now, in my area one bedrooms range from $ 1200-1500. Beyond my apartment that are even greater. Even before the housing crisis, the rent was high.) Now there are some places that are more poor people can go, but up to you if you want to sacrifice the security of cheaper rent (lol where it might go soon as I'm sure my mom and I will run out of money). As far as the houses are in Torrance, I used to go house hunting (for fun but I'm extremely poor) and 5 years ago prices were about $ 750,000 for 2-3 shit dwellings that are too small. The houses around my school (one of the best of my cattle) was $ 950,000 and up. I even saw a small piece of shit house for $ 1,150,000. Indeed, an apartment in Westwood (the area around my school, near Brentwood) costs $ 2,400 for a two bedroom (from done after my departure rose 300 so far is $ 2,700 for a two bedroom for new tenants). I can split the income between me and other two roommates (one person has little room for $ 900). In terms of living (food, etc), fine. More expensive than a lot of places in the U.S. but nowhere somewhere near San Francisco / New York. (Damned if his aunt lives in Brentwood she must have some money. LOL. I temporarily / UCLA School and Brentwood is close and has a lot of million dollars homes. It would be great to stay with his aunt and pay the rent that is below the norm if she'd let you go – to $ 500 or something well.)
