Chase Manhattan mortgage company tried for about me.?
I moved from Mt. Wa. I missed 2 payments of 700.00 each. I then sent three payments at once. Because I do not send registered signed receita, Chase told me he never received my payment. Then began forclosure in me. I had to file a chapter 13 to stop them. I had called the man who had helped to to get the mortgage after the presentation to see if I could help. Within 24 hours after calling to what they found my money. The problem is that I stopped at Chapter 13, sold the house and paid Chase, Chase is still on my credit report that I went bankrupt total and never paid. I have all the paperwork to show they were paid. Chase refuses to change on my credit report today, almost 7yrs later. I have not been able to do much with this in the report. What is my recourse??
submit a report to credit bureaus. The Fair Reporting Act Credit provides false information must be removed from your credit report. If Chase does not remove it will have to submit proof to the credit reporting agency that they paid and can be removed.
