Bernard Madoff: house arrest?
The world was a big hangover, the biggest farce, a ponzi scheme planimetry and the man goes to live at his residence of $ 7,000,000? And he wants us to believe that no two standards of justice? A man goes to prison for seven years for stealing a loaf of bread. And I'm sure you have heard of many other large wild stories imprisonment for minor offenses. Bernard Madoff, accused of the biggest frauds in U.S. history, is allowed to remain in his apartment in $ 7,000,000 Park Avenue instead of being sent to prison under the terms of an agreement announced today by federal prosecutors. He was in court to sign over his upper East Side apartment and his home in Palm Beach and the Hamptons for their $ 10 million in bonds.
